The first appearance of The Deli Guy in the comic strip, and the first time he's spoke since Musician Audition... Not to worry, he's got a couple one-liners in some of the upcoming episodes... And speaking of upcoming episodes...


Trying to get back on track with it, but got a lot of projects going on, plus fighting a cold right now... I'm gonna predict a May release... And later this year (and possibly into next)? Robot Banjo, Crime Stoppers For Hire (Jenny's first script), Blind Date (Holly's first script), and Behind The Scenes! After all that, maybe a DVD release will be in order?

First Blog

Yes, folks, this is the new official Some Town blog. For those of you blissfully unaware, Some Town is a new animated series (well, it's a few months old now) by me (Matt Rasch) and my friends Jenny Bousquet and Holly Keller. We all write and do the voices, and I direct and draw. You may ask, "Why a blog? Isn't your Myspace page and your Youtube channel enough?" Well, probably. (And some might say that's maybe a little too much already.) But the purpose of this blog is to show (ie. explain in words and pictures) you some of the process for the making of our quaint little webtoon.
